Tomatoes

Did I say I can't wait for spring? Neither can my tomatoes.

Spring is Getting Closer

You know spring is close when you start planting vegetable seeds inside. I've started by soaking my jalapeno pepper seeds and my roma tomato seeds. I can almost taste the fresh salsa now.

Can't Wait for Spring

As the title says, I can't wait til spring. Its almost time for me to start planning what seeds I'll be starting indoors. One of my favorite things to do is to start Dozens of plants, planting only a few of them then giving the rest away to my neighbors.

That is one of my "joys" of spring.  The other "joys" come from seeing life come back from the frozen ground - a reminder of the Hope we have.

Garlic

Well - it's that time of year to plant garlic.  I just love harvesting garlic in the summer.  My local gardening store, Anderson's Seed and Garden, has this information sheet (pdf) on garlic that is a good resource.  It reviews the four types of garlic and gives great instruction on how to grow and care for garlic.
